I recently got this mail from some one who is very close to my heart and probably the O2 of my life.. after reading this I guess all of you would be able to make out from who I have received this mail. I really liked it and thought of sharing the same with all of you. Hope you all will like it.

WORRY

Is there a magic cutoff period when
Offspring become accountable for their own
Actions? Is there a wonderful moment when
Parents can become detachEd spectators in
The lives of their children and shrug, ‘It’s
Their life,’ and feel nothing?

When I was in my twenties , I stood in a hospital
Corridor waiting for doctors to put a few
Stitches in my daughter’s head. I asked, ‘When do
You stop worrying?’ The nurse said,
‘When they get out of the accident stage..’
My Dad just smiled faintly and said nothing.

When I was in my thirties, I sat on a little
Chair in a classroom and heard how one of my
Children talked incessantly, disrupted the class,
And was headed for a career making
License plates. As if to read my mind, a teacher
Said, ‘Don’t worry, they all go through
This stage and then you can sit back, relax and
Enjoy them.’
My dad just smiled Faintly and said nothing.

When I was in my forties, I spent a lifetime
Waiting for the phone to ring, the cars to come
Home, the front door to open. A friend said,
‘They’re trying to find themselves. Don’t! worry,
In a few years, you can stop worrying. They’ll be
Adults.’
My dad just smiled faintly And said nothing.

By the time I was 50, I was sick & tired of being
Vulnerable. I was still worrying over my
Children, but there was a new wrinkle. There
Was nothing I could do about it. My
Dad just smiled faintly and said nothing. I
Continued to anguish over their failures, be
Tormented by their frustrations and absorbed in
Their disappointments.

My friends said that when my kids got married I
Could stop worrying and lead my own
Life. I wanted to believe that, but I was
Haunted by my dad’s warm smile and his
Occasional, ‘You look pale. Are you all right?
Call me the minute you get home. Are
You depressed about something?’
Can it be that parents are sentenced to a
Lifetime of worry? Is concern for one another
Handed down like a torch to blaze the trail of
Human frailties and the fears of the
Unknown? Is concern a curse or is it a virtue
That elevates us to the highest form of life?
One of my children became quite irritable
Recently, saying to me,
‘Where were you? I’ve been Calling for 3 days, and no one answered I was worried.’ I smiled a warm smile.

The torch has been passed.

This is what happens when the system let go the Criminal or the people who think that they are next to God. Thus it has encouraged The Sri Ram Sena to now try and disrupt and cause maximum damage to the society on Valentine’s Day on the pretext of saving the community and the culture.

Pramod Mutalik, the group’s founder said “Valentine’s Day is definitely not Indian culture. We will not allow celebration of that day in any form,”.

I want to ask them which culture are they talking about? The Hindu culture which says that kāma is regarded as one of the four goals of life. Kama-deva is the personification of this, a god equivalent to the Greek Eros and the Roman Cupid.

Kama-rupa is a subtle body or aura composed of desire. Correct me if I am wrong but Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid.

Now if we relate both these definitions, my common sense says that we are not doing anything which is wrong or which is demeaning the culture. It is just that the names have changed but the essence of the day remains to be same whether it be in India or in Western countries, so why do these organisations or people who think that it is not our culture to celebrate Valentine’s day make so much fuss about it?

My answer is they are simply ignorant or have a mental block or want to impose there value system on us. What do you folks have to say on this?

I am writing this article after seeing and hearing a lot about it, especially what happened in Mangalore a few days back, which was a very shameful and a terrible thing to happen to a so called civilized and developing country like ours. Now the CM’s of Karnatake and Rajasthan have given there comments stating that they want to ban the pub and the mall culture in India(This is the link which has the interview of Karnataka’s and Rajasthan’s Chief Minister - courtesy Times Now News Channel.), as they believe that it is ruining the Indian Youth. I want to ask them that who are they to decide about what the youth of India should do and what he/she should not do?

According to the Indian Law, a person who is 18yrs or above has the right to vote and decide the future of the country and at 21 a guy and at 18 a girl can get married and become parents but they feel at the age of 25 a man or a women would not have the wisdom to know when to control themselves and how much they should drink or should they be drinking or not?

The politicians believe that a 18yrs old man has more wisdom then a 25yrs old man. I want to tell these politicians that every month I pay tax from my hard earned money or that they get salaries from the taxes that all of us pay and now they will impose ban on us or tell us what should we do and will guide us, so does that mean we stop using our brains and blindly follow them and do what they dictate to us?

Is this is what is known as democracy or are the politicians making a fun of it?

A very Happy and a Prosperous New year to all the readers and members of Instablogs. May all have a healthy, positive and a peaceful year ahead.

I would like to thank all the readers for spending there precious time in reading my blog and also by giving there valuable feedbacks, I really appreciate it and as mentioned this is in continuation to my previous blog.

The second most talked about thing is that Call Centers pay very well at all levels, whether that is at entry level or at senior management level. But again the one’s who comment or have a grudge against the high salaries, have they ever thought how this works?
To be honest the HR (Human Resource) department can explain this better but as far as common sense goes all the Processes are International and hence the payout is in a different currency which when converted into our local currency gives us the mollahs. Correct me if I am wrong?
Now some Hard and Interesting facts about this Industry -:

1. An individual has to train him/her self to go against the Biological Clock and work at odd hours keeping in mind that the performance has to be up to the mark and consistent. Having said that mostly people living around you would say “What an abnormal life you lead, you work all night, is that not difficult?” My answer to them is that it is all in the mind and how you adjust yourself for such kind of situations. In the call center industry the night shifts are popularly known as the “Graveyard Shifts” i.e. the one starting anytime after 12am and going till 9 or 10am in the morning. Yes it is a bit difficult in the first week but slowly and gradually the body gets used to it and also it is all fun, because when you are in the office you never feel that is it night or you should be snoring off in your bed dreaming of some exotic locations or driving some fancy cars and so on….
The funny part is that a lot of people asked me – “Don’t you think you are leading an abnormal life?” I fail to understand that what is so Abnormal about the fact that you are working in night, I mean does it really bother or matter?

2. Second most tough thing is making the Customer(person who is calling you from Overseas) feel comfortable and make them feel as if they are talking to someone who is eager to help them, who is patient enough to understand the issues faced by them and someone who can lend his/her ears. Why I am saying it is tough is for the fact that in most of the Western countries the Customer is treated like a King or a Queen and there is a certain degree of professionalism and transparency maintained unlike India where the treatment is casual (based on my observations, might not be true for everyone) and besides Malls, professionalism lacks everywhere to a great extent, forget about the “transparency” fundamental.

Before I start off with this topic, I would like to say that there are no hard feelings against anyone and please don’t take it personally. I am writing this as I have worked with Call Centers for a reasonable amount of time and what I have mostly heard from people who have no clue about this Booming Industry and still can stand up and deliver speeches and CRITIZE it to great lengths.

The most common thinking pattern of every parent is that “there child will get spoilt if he/she works for a call center”, the irony is that people think that they are very modern and updated on what is happening throughout the world, but fail to understand what this Industry is all about and some are so rigid in there thoughts that they don’t want to understand what it is all about and want to always look at this industry with a suspicious look on there face and mind filled with all sort of negative thoughts.

But everything said and show about call centers is not true and the picture is not that negative or horrifying, because had it been true then the Off shoring business would have not stayed for long in India. To some extent it is true that people working in call centers tend to behave in a different manner and have a different living pattern and above all are not that social but then who the heck cares about it, till the time you are working and are involved in your job. In the times of globalization, I don’t think that setting a fixed timeframe to work matters anymore. One of the most talked about topic on which the call center companies are often squashed is the “Quarterly or the Annual Parties” that are been organized. But did anyone ever thought or made an attempt on knowing that why such elaborate and lavish parties are being organized by the companies?

I would request the readers and the editors of Instablog to comment on the same. I would carry on writing about this blog in series as this being the first part and again I would like to mention that this is what I have heard from the discussions that are being carried out.

A question asked a million/zillion times and everyone have his or her own way of explaining and expressing it. Love if I may say so is something inherent in every creature found on this planet. Starting from an Infant to an Oldie, Love has no defined language but yet universally accepted and is known to do wonders.

I feel this word has a significant role to play in each one of us and this Feeling is something which separates us from the Animal Kingdom and makes us the Superior creature amongst the all. With Love comes the feeling of care, responsibility, a sense of pride and many more...

In fact one can Love any and everything found around him. We have heard statements like “I Love doing my work”,” I Love playing/eating/sleeping/shopping”. The basic idea is people associate the word Love with what they feel suits them or they are comfortable doing it and take some amount of pride in doing the “Thing” they like doing the most. Most often people tend to associate themselves with what they tend to do and thus comes the word “I love doing this”.

Love is a Universal Word as it fits with any and everything, one can Love his country, the place where he/she lives, His or her assets, or the most precious of the things. Most often the word Love is associated with someone we Love, again it can be your Family, Parents, Spouse or the Partner, Friends and last but not the least the Relatives.

Love is about understanding the person/object you love and about the Fine Tuning that you can develop slowly but steadily and keep on going with it. There has to be a common thinking between the two and also the wisdom to think and react accordingly. Well the list and my thoughts on it will go on and on but I would like to stop for a while.

My comments are based on What I see around me and observe in the relationships which tend to be promising and everlasting but get Haywire or Do not carry on forever as thought of. As all such relationships have some of the above Ingredients missing in them.

This is purely what I feel and there might be a few more additions or subtractions or edits you would like to see, leave me a comment and I will work it in. We can debate about what should be added, and talk about alternatives or new ideas.

I feel this is the time when all of Us around the world are in a fix, are surrounded by what seems a never ending struggle and insoluble problems, If I may say so?
Some of Us are worried by the Global Economic Recession, Some have got Laid off and don’t know what’s in store for them, Some are depressed by seeing all this happening around them

Twenty Four by Seven

, some are shocked by the Barberic act that took place a week back in Mumbai, India and the list goes on. All of a sudden we are hearing Bad, Sad and Shocking News from around the World.
I am making a humble request to all my Friends throughout the world that at such times when all of Us are going through a rough patch, let’s take out some time and Pray to God for Peace, Harmony, Unity and a Prosperous World. Let’s all try and channelise our positive energies and pray as this is a very silent and a powerful way of fighting our way back.

I start off by saying this Prayer which I read on a Website

“May the whole world enjoy
good health,
long life,
prosperity,
happiness and peace.
Om, shanti, shanti, shanti.”

Would request everyone to add on there Prayers/Comments/Feedbacks.

I feel it is like a dreadful disease “DEPRESSION”, the word means a lot, especially at such times when the world is going through the Global Recession and many people have lost there jobs and then the terror attacks in Mumbai, India.

One gets really depressed by looking at the current situation. By watching all the News Channel and the Newspapers warning the masses that the “Worst is still to come“. I read it all the time that there are so many jobs gets axed on a daily basis and getting laid off is the most dreadful thing to happen. It takes a lot of time for an individual to get out of the feeling that he/she have been laid off. Earlier on I used to listen to all this too, but understood how one feels when this happened to me and my fellow colleagues a few months back and thus thought of sharing my feelings.

The first thing that I noticed was the change in behavior and attitude of your “so called friends” and then the tone of the recruitment agencies also change that too overnight. Once they get to know that you are out of job or you have been recently laid off things take a U turn. Believe me this feeling is something which cannot be expressed in words but it is like you get preoccupied thinking about “What’s Next?”, as if you are been haunted and if one does not engage him/her self into any activity then the dreadful disease takes over...

I would like all of you to share your feelings and give your valuable feedback on the same.
